Nykaa Onboarding Process

Description

To get the seller onboarded with Nykaa Fashion, the following steps need to be performed.

Brand Approval

  • Fynd will begin the onboarding process by drafting an introductory mail between Nykaa and the brand.
  • The seller will also need to share the Trademark/Authorization certificate and a cancelled cheque with Nykaa.
  • Once the introductory onboarding email has been sent, Nykaa will review the details and initiate the onboarding process.
  • If the details in the email are as per requirements, Nykaa will approve the brand.

Once the Brand is approved, Nykaa will initiate the onboarding process by sharing the Agreement document with the seller via email. The agreement will contain the commercial details, negotiations and closures between the seller and the marketplace.
After the seller receives the agreement they will have to review, sign and share it on mail with Nykaa via the same thread.

Cataloging process

  1. This is handled internally by Nykaa after the seller shares all the details over email. If all the details provided are proper then the turnaround time (TAT) for the process to complete is 25 - 30 days.
  2. Once cataloging is done, Nykaa will share a form via email containing packaging material requirements. The seller will need to fill out the details and share them with Nykaa over the same email thread.
  3. The seller will then have to confirm the MOP (mode of payment) on the seller’s POS system.
  4. The following documents will be provided to the seller by the Nykaa team:
  • Parent code (username)and password
  • Child vendor codes
  • SKU dump along with Nykaa codes
  • Confirmation of packaging availability

Fynd will then align the seller’s store training for Order Management Process.

Updating Account Details

After the seller’s store training for order management is complete, they will have to reset the password for their seller panel and share the credentials with Fynd.

Fynd will need to do the following to complete the onboarding process:

  1. Add Nykaa/Nykaa Fashion extension on the Fynd Platform.

  1. Enter the parent code (username) and password provided by the brand under the marketplace credentials.

  2. Fill out the vendor codes on respective locations to map the stores/warehouses under the selling location tab on the extension.

  3. Map the Nykaa SKU under the products from the SKU dump provided by the Nykaa team.

  4. Do a test run by pushing inventory of 2 - 3 SKUs for stores and check the forward and backward journey of the bag before the full inventory push.

  5. Once the inventory is pushed, Nykaa will place a test order to check if the process runs smoothly.

After the testing process is complete, Fynd will train the store for the Order Management Process. Fynd will also provide training for the future mapping of products and triggering the inventory from the Fynd Platform to Nykaa.
