Sizing Guidelines

Apparel guidelines

  • Use complaint size values, use attributes such as size name, and size type.
  • Size type is listed in alpha, for e.g. S, M, L, XL or in numeric, for e.g. Size 30, 32, 34 etc.
  • Size type can also be in age range, for e.g. ages 3-6 years, 6-9 years or in band size (elastic), for e.g. 32, 34, 36.
  • You need to provide brand-specific size charts for all the products.
  • You can use A+ content for branded AISNs.

Footwear guidelines

  • Age range is required, for e.g. baby, kids, adult.
  • The footwear size system is required to display marketplace-specific shoe sizes, for e.g. UK size 8, US size 8.5, Euro size 41-42.
  • Shoe size gender (conditional) might be required as for some brands men’s and women’s sizes might be unequal.
  • Shoe width is required to be displayed, for e.g. medium, wide, and x-narrow.
  • Shoe size to range (if applicable) is required for e.g. if a shoe is listed UK size 8/9 then you would select shoe size value as 8 and size to range value as 9.
  • For unisex products (conditionally mandatory), opposite gender values must be provided for e.g. 7 UK Men/6 UK Women.
