QG11

Figure 6: Adding Product Size

  • Multi-size

Disable this option if your product is only available in one size, e.g. handbags. Enable this option if you have multiple sizes of product, e.g. T-shirt in S/M/L/XL size.

  • Inventory Tracked

Enable this option if you want your inventory to be adjusted after receiving an order. Disable this option, if you don't want any changes in your inventory even after customers place an order. This is called 'infinite inventory'.

  • Identifiers

Product identifiers are a series of numerical or alphanumerical digits used to identify a specific product. It helps sellers in tracking their inventory and also plays a key role in helping customers locate products online. EAN, SKU, UPC and ALU are some of the well known product identifiers. Additionally, you can include more than one identifier by using the + button.

If you add multiple product identifiers, you'll have to set one of them as PRIMARY. A primary identifier is one which is used by the seller to receive an inventory. Example: Let's say your inventory uses EAN number to identify products; therefore, you must set EAN as your product identifier on Fynd Platform (irrespective of whether you've SKU, UPC or ALU number of your products).

info

If you add only one product identifier, that will become the default primary identifier. Read more about Product Identifiers

    • Selling Price - It is the price at which a product or service is sold to the buyer, and should ideally be less than or equal to MRP.

  • Packing Measurements

  • Enter the dimensions of the packaging material used for shipping the product and not of the product.
  • Upon adding dimensions, system will auto-calculate the Volumetric Weight which is equal to: (length × width × height) in centimetres / 5
  • Product Dead Weight is the actual weight of the product in grams.
  • Upon adding product dead weight, system will auto-calculate the Applicable Weight which is equal to: Max(Volumetric Weight, Product Dead Weight). Based on the applicable weight, the shipment charges will be derived.
