A product description page on a website is a webpage that provides detailed information about a particular product or service. It typically includes product features, specifications, pricing, images, and other relevant details to help potential customers make an informed purchasing decision.

How to access Product Description Page in your website?​

Below are the steps to access PDP page:

  1. Select Product Description Page from dropdown menu.
  2. Pop-up window appears with PDP section.
  3. Customise subsections in PDP page.

Below are the configurable options of the PDP section:

1. Product Thumbnail on Left​

A product thumbnail is a small image that is used to represent a product on an e-commerce website or online store. Select the Product thumbnail on left checkbox if you want to display a thumbnail of the product on the left hand side of your store page to the users.

2. Seller Store Selection​

Seller Store Selection is a feature on a product description page of a website that allows users to choose which seller they want to purchase the product from. It gives users more control over their shopping experience and can provide them with a wider range of options in terms of pricing and shipping.

Check the Seller Store Selection tick box if you want to display the number of sellers selling a particular product in your store and give your users the option to select their desired seller.

3. Show Sellers​

"Show Seller" in a product description page on a website is a button or link that, when clicked, displays information about the seller or vendor of the product.

Check the Show Seller tick box if you want to display the name of the seller on your store’s product page.

4. Play video & 3D icon color​

The Play video & 3D icon in a product description page is a visual element that indicates the presence of a video related to the product.

Check the Play video & 3D icon color tick box if you want to customise the color of your video icon on the product page of your store.

5. Display MRP label text​

Display MRP label text in a product description page on a website refers to showing the Maximum Retail Price of a product alongside its description. This provides customers with transparency about the product's pricing and helps them make informed purchasing decisions.

Check the Display MRP label text checkbox if you want to display the MRP label text on the product page of your store.

6. Price tax label text​

A price tax label text on a product description page in a website is a statement that indicates the price of the product and whether or not taxes are included in that price.

Check the Price tax label text checkbox if you want to display the MRP label text on the product page of your store.

7. Extension Positions​

The extension positions in the extension section of a website refer to the specific locations or areas on a web page where browser extensions or add-ons can be displayed or integrated.

Below the extension positions section, click on the ‘+’ button to add an extension:

  1. Add extension (e.g. Below Price Component, Below Delivery Location, Below Product Description).
  2. Save the added extension.
  3. Users can repeat the process to add other extensions.
