These are the most commonly asked FAQs regarding product listing on Tata CLiQ.

Product Creation FAQs
What are the requirements for creating a product catalog?
  • Gather all your product data.
    • Start with gathering product information such as Product name, Variation details, Size, Color, Material, Dimensions, HSN, barcode, and Price.
    • All product images must be professional photoshoots and keep the image as per Tata CLiQ Image Guidelines
    • Keep the inventory/stock information for the products
    • Note: Fields marked with * are mandatory.
    What are the Image guidelines for Tata CLiQ?
  • Images must meet the following requirements:
    • Products must fill at least 85% of the images. Images must show only the product that is for sale, with few or no props and with no logos, watermarks, or inset images. Images may only contain text that is a part of the product.
    • Main images must have a pure white background, must be a photo (not a drawing), and must not contain excluded accessories.
    • Images must be at least 1000 pixels on the longest side and at least 500 pixels on the shortest side to be zoom-able.
    • JPEG is the preferred image format, but you can upload PNG and GIF files also.
    What are the minimum number of images allowed by Tata CLiQ?
  • Minimum 1 and Maximum of 20 images are allowed. You can arrange the order after uploading. Number of image difference as per categories.
  • What is the image dimension supported by Tata CLiQ?
  • Images must be at least 1000 pixels on the longest side and at least 500 pixels on the shortest side to be zoom-able.
  • How to upload the image on Tata CLiQ?
  • We can upload the images by adding the image URLs on the Tata CLiQ template.
  • How to do bulk listing on Tata CLiQ?
    Step 1
    • Ask template from Account manager or In Seller Central, click on Product Listing.
    • Select Product Bulk Download / upload Sheet, then select category and sub category and click download format.
    Step 2
    • Prepare your bulk Excel file with attributes
    Step 3
    • Share ready file with Account manager or Select Product Bulk Download / upload Sheet, then select category and sub category.
    • Click on Browse FOR XLS
    • Select the prepared excel sheet and upload
    Step 4
    • After clicking on Upload you will see “complete” comment after few minutes depend on file size.

    How to create product variants?
  • In the Tata CLiQ format there is no any style SKUs row , We can fill the data based on variant SKUs.
  • How many variation types are supported by Tata CLiQ?
  • Variation themes differ by category, so you'll need to download the respective category templates and choose a Variety theme from the dropdown list
  • How can I contact seller support?

    Can we create a duplicate product listing on Tata CLiQ?
  • Tata CLiQ does not support duplicate listing, If you have multiple identical units of the same product, use the quantity field.
  • How to register the brand on Tata CLiQ?
  • In order to become a seller with Tata CLiQ, first of all you are required to drop a mail to

    sellersupport@tatacliq.com.

  • The mail should contain information such as your name, email ID, contact number, the category of product as well as the brand name and location of your business.
  • Once you have sent the email, you will receive an automated response from the e-retailer. You are now required to follow up with them by dropping regular mails on the same chain mail.
  • You will receive an email from the category head along with the agreement document. You are now required to duly sign the agreement on a stamp paper of Rs. 300.
  • Once agreement is prepared you are required to print an Annexure, containing the commission details commission details. The commission details are needed to be mentioned on the company letterhead along with your signature.
  • Now you must send the documents to the following address- Tata Unistore First floor, Empire Plaza 2, Chandan Nagar LBS Marg, Vikhroli West Mumbai-400080.
  • Once your documents have been received, you will receive a mail consisting of ‘ECS’ and Seller Registration Form. You are required to fill both the forms carefully with relevant information and send it to the same email address along with given below document
    • VAT and CST copy
    • Pan card copy
    • TAN Copy (If Available)
    • Service Tax Copy in case of any services billing
    • CIN Copy (from ROC)
    • Cancelled Cheque
    • Company Logo
    • Bank confirmation on electronics clearance form with attachment.
  • The seller registration form should contain the name of registered company name, the list of all documents as well as PAN card details. Along with this you must share different email ID’s if you are willing to avail more than one fulfillment centers. In addition to this, you are required to send catalogue of products that you are going to sell, to be listed on the portal.
  • Is there any way to list a product if a similar product is already listed on Tata CLiQ?
  • TataC LiQ does not support the similar product listing for another product.
  • Can I change my SKU ID provided for a listing?
  • No, once you have provided an SKU ID for a listing you will not be allowed to change it. Hence, please be sure that you are doing this without any mistakes
  • What is fulfillment type?
  • On Tata CLiQ you can sell your products from Drop Shipping modes.
    • You can sell from your location while maintaining inventory using Tata CLiQ norms. Once you have received the order, go to dashboard and click on order management, then click on Pick confirm all order one by one (all order will be disappear from this tab or page) then back to dashboard and click on Pack and download the pdf. click insert and upload pdf and put all products model or series number. Then click courier outbound.

    How are deliveries managed?
  • The delivery partners are mostly handled by Tata CLiQ.
  • What is HSN code and GST Tax Rate? Where are the used?
  • HSN and GST tax rate help us understand the tax slab in which your product is sold. This helps us to generate appropriate invoice on your behalf for the customer. Selecting the rights GST and HSN code for your listing is your responsibility
  • Product Updation FAQs
    How to download the existing sku data in Tata CLIQ

    In the Seller portal, click on Reports and Dashboards

  • Click on Listed Products > Select listed from dropdown
  • Click on Request Download > Select Listing file from drop down, then click on search
  • Then click on Download Report (Download the excel file)
  • How to add new variants for existing products?
  • Tata CLiQ does not allow for the creation of a variant of an existing product, we need to create it at the time of creating catalog sheet.
  • How to delete the variants for existing products?
  • Tata CLiQ does not allow to delete variation for existing product, we need to delist that product listing
  • How to add/update image for existing products?
  • You can put the image url in the in Tata CLiQ templates for existing sku save the sheet and upload on seller panel via Upload your Product Catalog Upload
