Product Creation FAQs
What are the requirements for creating a product catalog?
- Start with gathering product information such as Product name, Variation details, Size, Color, Material, Dimensions, HSN, barcode, and Price.
- All product images must be professional photoshoots and keep the image as per Tata CLiQ Image Guidelines
- Keep the inventory/stock information for the products
- Note: Fields marked with * are mandatory.
What are the Image guidelines for Tata CLiQ?
- Products must fill at least 85% of the images. Images must show only the product that is for sale, with few or no props and with no logos, watermarks, or inset images. Images may only contain text that is a part of the product.
- Main images must have a pure white background, must be a photo (not a drawing), and must not contain excluded accessories.
- Images must be at least 1000 pixels on the longest side and at least 500 pixels on the shortest side to be zoom-able.
- JPEG is the preferred image format, but you can upload PNG and GIF files also.

Step 1 Figure 1: Upload File
- Ask template from Account manager or In Seller Central, click on Product Listing.
- Select Product Bulk Download / upload Sheet, then select category and sub category and click download format.
- Prepare your bulk Excel file with attributes
- Share ready file with Account manager or Select Product Bulk Download / upload Sheet, then select category and sub category.
- Click on Browse FOR XLS
- Select the prepared excel sheet and upload
- After clicking on Upload you will see “complete” comment after few minutes depend on file size.

In order to become a seller with Tata CLiQ, first of all you are required to drop a mail to
- VAT and CST copy
- Pan card copy
- TAN Copy (If Available)
- Service Tax Copy in case of any services billing
- CIN Copy (from ROC)
- Cancelled Cheque
- Company Logo
- Bank confirmation on electronics clearance form with attachment.
Is there any way to list a product if a similar product is already listed on Tata CLiQ?
Can I change my SKU ID provided for a listing?
What is fulfillment type?
You can sell from your location while maintaining inventory using Tata CLiQ norms. Once you have received the order, go to dashboard and click on order management, then click on Pick confirm all order one by one (all order will be disappear from this tab or page) then back to dashboard and click on Pack and download the pdf. click insert and upload pdf and put all products model or series number. Then click courier outbound.
