Trace Inventory in Flipkart

To trace the inventory pushed to Flipkart, we will need to check the following details;

Inventory Flow between Fynd & the Brand

In order to debug correctness of inventory in Seller system and the Fynd Platform first check if the inventory for that particular SKU and Store has been pushed from the Seller’s POS or ERP system and is being consumed correctly by Fynd Platform.

In an event where there is a mismatch in inventory between Seller system and Fynd Platform.

If the inventory is matching then proceed as follows

Catalog Creation

  1. Navigate to Platform.fynd.com

  2. Once you’re logged in, click on Products.

  1. Enter the SKU/Seller Identifier in the search box to check if the SKU is cataloged.

  1. If the SKU is cataloged then you’ll see that in the search result.

  2. If the search result doesn’t return a value then the product needs to be cataloged on Fynd. Refer to the tutorial on Cataloging products on Fynd Platform.

Inventory Consumption at Fynd

In this section, we will verify if the inventory that is consumed by Fynd against the cataloged SKU is correct or not. In other words, we will check if the inventory consumed by Fynd matches the raw inventory in Seller system.

  1. Click on the dropdown and select Edit Inventory.

  1. You can check the specific store code in the search box.

  1. Check if the ‘Sellable Quantity’ field for quantity consumed by Fynd is the same as the raw inventory at the seller’s side.

  2. If there is a mismatch in the inventory then you should reach out to Fynd Platform support to investigate the case.

Marketplace Catalog Mapping

  1. To check the marketplace mappings, click on ‘Flipkart’ under Sales Channels.

  1. Click Products.

  1. Enter the SKU/Seller Identifier in the search box.

  1. If the relevant FSN, and Merchant SKU is added and the status is ‘active’ then the mapping is complete.
note

If the FSN, Merchant SKU denotes that the mapping is not complete then it needs to be uploaded and mapped. If the status is ‘inactive’ then it means that the mapping is not complete and inventory push is incomplete.

Inventory Push

Here we will be checking if the inventory is correctly pushed from Fynd to Flipkart

  1. Click on ‘Stats & Reports’.

  1. Click on ‘Trace Product’.

  1. Enter the SKU in the search box, select the time range and click on ‘Get Logs’.

If you’re not able to see the output files, contact the Growth Manager/ Inventory POC at Fynd via email.

  1. If the quantity is the same as per the Raw file then the inventory is successfully pushed from Fynd and now needs to be checked on the Flipkart Seller Panel.

Flipkart Inventory Status

  1. Navigate to the Flipkart Seller Portal and Click on My Listings.

  1. Enter the SKU in the search box and select the product.

  1. Click on Inventory Details.

  1. Check if the inventory is available for the relevant store.

If the inventory is present, it denotes inventory is successfully pushed to Flipkart from Fynd, if it is not visible on the website, there must be some issue with Catalog, contact your marketplace POC for the relevant query.

caution

If the inventory is not present in that particular store, then store mapping needs to be checked between Flipkart & Fynd.
