How this promotion works

Here

Buy items is the minimum number of items eligible for a discount
Amount Value(Dn) is the flat discount
Minimum Cart Value(MCV) (optional) is the minimum price of the cart items
Apply coupon on exact quantities (optional) if checked, will apply the coupon only to the specified Buy items and if unchecked, will apply the coupon to more than the specified Buy items

Example

Buy 1 get ₹ 250 off,
Buy 2 get ₹ 600 off,
Buy 3 get ₹ 1000 off
Let’s say you wish to purchase 3 items worth total ₹ 4000

Formula

Coupon Discount = D

Where

D = Discount for n items

In this example

On adding 3 items,
Cart value = 4000

Therefore

D = 1000

Cart Value

4000

Coupon Discount

-1000

Let's consider the following example

1. Let's create a new promotion. Select the 'Bundle Amount Discount' from the list.

2. Enter the basic details.

3. Select the priority (1 being the lowest) and schedule. Higher the number, higher the priority.

4. Set the restrictions whether you want the promotion to be stackable, final. For e.g. if you set it to stackable then this promotion can be applied to the product with other promotions. If you select final then no other promotions can be added after this.

5. Add the rules that will be applied to the promotion. In this example we have created 3 rules where the cart item quantity is 1 then a discount of ₹ 250 will be applied, for 2 items a discount of ₹ 500 and for 3 or more items the discount will be ₹ 750. For each rule we have kept the brands and the products same.

6. Set the conditions. You can set multiple conditions for the rules by selecting the 'OR' option. In this example, we set conditions as follows: buy 1 item and get ₹ 250 off, buy 2 items and get ₹ 500 off, buy 3 or more items and get ₹ 750 off. After setting all the conditions, click Create.

7. Your promotion is created, you can navigate to the PDP page and add items to the cart to view the promotions applied.

Here the promotional amount of ₹ 750 is applied as 3 items are added to the cart.
