How to access on Fynd Platform

Introduction

Here, you can manage the features to be displayed across product listing and product description page.

Order Quantity

  • Minimum Quantity - The lowest quantity of the product that must be added to the cart. For e.g. if you set the minimum quantity of a product to 2, your customers will not be able to add less than two quantities of the product to their cart.

  • Maximum Quantity - The highest quantity of the product that can be added to the cart. For e.g. if you set the maximum quantity of a product to 5, your customers will not be able to add more than five quantities of the product to their cart.

  • Increment Unit - Enter the number that should get added/subtracted each time the customer clicks the +/- button in the product quantity.


Website SEO

Fynd Platform allows you to add SEO information to every product you create. Add a title and description that should be visible in the search engine results when people search for your product. Alternatively, you can use AI-powered (Artificial Intelligence) Generate or Generate Using Custom Keyword options to create title and description automatically.

Preview shows how the information might appear in the search engine results.

Alternative Text for Media

The alternate text a.k.a alt text is the text description that shows up instead of an image on a website in case the image fails to display properly on a user's screen. Enter alternative text for each image/media of a product.


Cash On Delivery

  • Slide the Cash On Delivery toggle to the right to enable it. This toggle will allow cash on delivery (COD) option for this product at checkout. QG1

If one product in your cart has a COD option disabled in Fynd Platform, then the COD option will not be visible for the whole cart.

Attention

Gift Option

Use this to enable a gift wrap option for a specific product. The customers checking out this product would be able to see that it is eligible for a gift wrap. Currently the checkbox is available only on the cart page. Support for checkboxes on the product detail page will be available in the future.

Customers also have an option to add a personalised gift note upon opting for a gift wrap. Further, the note will be sent to the recipient of the order.

Standard charges will apply to the customers for availing gift wrap during checkout

Important

The visibility of the gift wrap option depends on the theme applied to your website. Currently, it works only on Astra, Grammy, Emerge, Bodil and Gala themes. Support for other themes is planned for future.


Product Configuration

Here, you can manage the features to be displayed across product listing and product description page.

Allow selection of seller on PDP

If a product is available at more than 1 store, your customers will have an option to choose the store from where their order should be fulfilled. If this option is disabled, the store will be selected automatically and your customer won't get an option to choose a store.

You must also turn ON the 'Seller Store Selection' option in your Theme Settings. Go to Appearance → Themes → Edit and select Product Description in the top drop-down (select any product for reference). Click Save once you enable the Seller Store Selection option in Page tab.

Allow staff to modify product information

If you enable this option, any staff who has the necessary privileges, can request raise a request to change the product information. For example, there's a product that's available only in blue colour; however, it's incorrectly mentioned as green on the website. In this case, a staff can raise a modification request as shown in fig. 3 and fig. 4

Allow product request

If you enable this option, a customer can request a desired product if he or she is unable to find it on your website or store.

You must also turn ON the 'Product Request' option in your Theme Settings. Go to Appearance → Themes → Edit and select Product Description in the top drop-down (select any product for reference). Click Save once you enable the Product Request option in Page tab.

Display price according to

Let's say, the price of a mobile is ₹10,000 for a 32GB model and ₹15,000 for a 64GB model. Therefore, the mobile is set to have a price range between ₹10,000 to ₹15,000. Display price according to allows you to display either the minimum price (Min) on the product listing page (i.e. ₹10,000 on PLP), or the maximum price (i.e. ₹15,000), or the range itself (i.e. ₹10,000 - ₹15,000)

Compare Product

If you enable this, your customers will be able to use a comparison feature to compare more than 1 product. This feature is displayed on the product description page as shown below.

You must also turn ON the 'Add to Compare' option in your Theme Settings. Go to Appearance → Themes → Edit and select Product Description in the top drop-down (select any product for reference). Click Save once you enable the Add to Compare option in Page tab.
