Trace Inventory in Myntra

To trace the inventory pushed to Myntra, we will need to check the following details;

Inventory Flow between Fynd & the Brand

In order to debug correctness of inventory in Seller system and Fynd Platform first check if the inventory for that particular SKU and Store has been pushed from the Seller’s POS or ERP system and is being consumed correctly by Fynd Platform.

In an event where there is a mismatch in inventory between Seller system and Fynd Platform.

If the inventory is matching then proceed as follows

Catalog Creation

  1. Navigate to Platform.fynd.com.

  2. Once you’re logged in, click on Products.

  1. Enter the SKU/Seller Identifier in the search box to check if the SKU is cataloged.

  1. If the SKU is cataloged then you’ll see that in the search result.

  2. If the search result doesn’t return a value then the product needs to be cataloged on Fynd. Refer to the tutorial on Cataloging products on Fynd Platform.

Inventory Consumption at Fynd

In this section, we will verify if the inventory that is consumed by Fynd against the cataloged SKU is correct or not. In other words, we will check if the inventory consumed by Fynd matches the raw inventory in the Seller system.

  1. Click on the dropdown and select Edit Inventory.

  1. You can check the specific store code in the search box.

  1. Check if the ‘Sellable Quantity’ field for the quantity consumed by Fynd is the same as the raw inventory on the seller’s side.

  2. If there is a mismatch in the inventory then you should reach out to Fynd Platform support to investigate the case.

Marketplace Catalog Mapping

  1. To check the marketplace mappings, click on ‘Myntra’ under Sales Channels.

  1. Click on Product.

  1. Enter the SKU/Seller Identifier.

  1. If the relevant Myntra SKU is added and the status is ‘active’ then the mapping is complete.
note

If the Myntra SKU denotes that the mapping is not complete then it needs to be uploaded and mapped. If the status is ‘inactive’ then it means that the mapping is not complete and the inventory push is incomplete.

Inventory Push

  1. Here we will be checking if the inventory is pushed correctly from Fynd to Myntra.

  2. Click on ‘Manual Sync’ and select Trace Product.

  1. Enter the relevant SKUs in the search box and select the relevant time period and click Get Logs.

  1. In the quantity tab you can check whether the relevant quantity is the same for SKU x Store.

If you’re not able to see the output files, contact the Growth Manager/ Inventory POC at Fynd via email.

  1. If the quantity is the same as per the Raw file then the inventory is successfully pushed from Fynd and now needs to be checked on the Myntra Seller Panel.

Myntra Inventory Status

  1. Login to your Myntra Seller panel and click on Operational Reports.

  1. Fill in the store and in Partner type, select ‘PPMP’, select ‘seller_inventory_report under Report and click ’Generate Report’.

  1. Download the Generated Report.

  1. In the downloaded excel file you can check for the Sellable quantity against the SKU x Store from the Raw file.
tip

If the inventory is present, it denotes inventory is successfully pushed to Myntra from Fynd, if it is not visible on the website, there must be some issue with Catalog, contact your marketplace POC for the relevant query.

If the inventory is not present in that particular store, then store mapping needs to be checked between Myntra & Fynd.
