As a seller, you might want to display seller-related attributes that may not be directly related to the features of a product. This includes, country of origin, return time period, HSN code, EAN number, any more.
You can configure such attributes to appear on the PDP by using Seller Detail.
Kindly don't confuse this with Product Details that appear on the PDP. Seller Details contain attributes far different from the usual ones in Product Details.
How To Customise The Seller Detail Feature?
Go to Product Configuration → Seller Detail.
Figure 1: Configuring Seller Detail
Create a new group of attributes.
Figure 2: Creating An Attribute Group
Next, you need to name your group and add attributes to it. Here the attributes are not the usual ones, but seller-centric attributes, such as manufacturer details, HSN, SKU, expiry date, etc.
Figure 3: Naming The Group And Adding Attributes For ComparisonOptional
You can upload a logo for the attribute group, and it will be shown only if your theme supports. Using the down arrow, you can also decide the name of the seller attribute that should be shown on the website.
You can create more than one group of attributes if needed. Save the configuration once done.
Figure 4: Saving The Seller Attribute GroupOptional
You can upload a logo for a product group, and it will be shown only if your theme supports it. Using the down arrow, you can also decide the name of the attribute that should be shown on the website while comparing the products.
It might take up to 1 hour to reflect the changes. Since these configurations aren't used regularly, the caching duration is active and new changes might take time.
