Flipkart Onboarding Process
Description
To get onboarded on Flipkart eKart, the following steps need to be performed:
Setting up Seller Account on Marketplace
-
The first step in getting onboarded is to create a seller account on the Flipkart Seller Portal.
-
If the seller has an account on Flipkart and needs to migrate to eKart, share the registered email with the Flipkart team.
-
Flipkart will replicate the GST details from the previous account. (registered email of both old and new account required).
For new sellers, GSTIN is required.
The seller will need to get the Brand approval to sell under that brand name, for that follow the below steps:
-
Login to the seller portal.
-
Click on Listings and select Add New Listings.
- Click on Add Single Listings or Add Listings in Bulk and add category, sub-category and vertical to list the products.
- Select the Brand name and you will get the option of apply for approval.
- Fill the details in the Brand approval form like the brand name, brand logo, trademark or brand authorization letter and click Apply.
- Once the Brand approval request is submitted, the request ID gets generated and the status of the request ID can be tracked under Track Approval Request under listings.
Brand approval takes up to 24 hours to complete processing from the time the request was submitted.
Once the Brand is approved, Flipkart team will enable multi-location from their backend. Once this is done, locations can be created.
After the locations are added, the brand will be made live on Flipkart.
Once this process is complete, Fynd will need to do the following to complete the onboarding process:
- Carry out Flipkart’s listing and store/warehouse mapping on Fynd Platform.
- For that Flipkart needs to be added on Fynd Platform under marketplaces, to do that see Add Flipkart.
- Do a test run for stores to check the forward and backward journey of the bag before the full inventory push.
- This is done by adding 2-3 SKUs and placing a test order from the website.
Once the testing process is complete, Fynd will have to align the brand’s store training for Order Management. Fynd will also train the brand for product mapping and triggering inventory from the Fynd Platform to Flipkart.
